Quality assurance is one of the major initiatives in any governing system. It creates high level quality service for consumers as their anticipation. As a vast system, school education in Sri Lanka needs virtuous evaluation and monitoring process covering all the sectors related to general education. The school quality assurance is considered in accordance with internal and external school evaluations.

Ministry of Education has introduced this electronic database to boost the school evaluation process with positive change in traditional way of keeping information. From 2019, both internal and external evaluation details are inserted here, with the responsibility of the leading personal of the evaluation conducted. It is expected that this database would be the new dimension and mechanism of school evaluation process in Sri Lanka.
